THE POWER OF WORDS

Words have the power to either lift you to the heavens or drag you to the ground.
Words are important because they are the influencers of actions. You act the way you speak. These words may be in the form of prayers, speeches, poetry etc.
What I am going to discuss today is "Prayers" and "Poetry".
What are prayers? In Islam or any other religion, there is an invisible and secret conversation between the creator and the created. This conversation might be closed from the whole world but could not be closed from the creator because we all know that He knows what is even in the core of our heart. The creator is like oxygen, you can't see him but you need him to survive. So when one prays, this prayer is not one sided that is why I am calling it a conversation, Allah replies if we listen, Allah answers if we question.
What these prayers really do? They lift and carry the burden of one and makes one feel light, happy and satisfied. These prayers strengthen the faith when they are accepted and they seem like some magic or miracle or dream come true. If these prayers' answers are delayed then it makes one patient because He Who creates, knows best what suits us the most. Try to speak to Allah, tell Him your problems, your wishes and all your tensions, you will notice change and that change will completely change you!
The other thing is poetry. It might be considered utopic and imaginary which is not related to the world by any means. But it is not true for me. The best observers of the universe are the poets. They see the world through very unique and positive perspective. They make people aware in a unique pacific way and after all in contemporary times it is better to count the heads than breaking them. Sometimes all one needs is a tap on the back, a motivation, an encouragement and poetry might provide him that. Poets are very interesting creatures because ordinary mind can never understand them and this makes them fascinating. Let me give you an example, Allama Iqbal was not treated the way he deserved to be treated but now he is the national poet of the land he dreamed about. Maulana Rumi, Ghalib and many more are such examples. I pray to Allah to provide us with wisdom to recognize and appreciate the talents of people!

YOUR LIFE MATTERS NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES ARE!

LIVES ARE GIVEN AND TAKEN BY GOD, OUR AIM MUST BE TO LIVE IT NOT TO RULE IT... What is the thing which makes human so helpless that he even denies his own life? To me the most precious thing which I care about most is my breath, my life. If a person is capable to muster up such courage to give up on his own life, he must be depressed this much. Now what might be the reasons for depression. For me, the top most reason is that there are no listeners left in the society. In today's world, we might live in same house but we are separated by the walls of social media. We barely have family talks. Even if we contact our friends and relatives, we do it for our own "Transactional causes"_ you give I take, I give you take. Even I have experienced that many of my close friends and relatives do not call or message me until they have their own interest in doing so . What happens when there are no listeners? That listener might be a close friend to the depressed one. As a result, the ...

TO MY BELOVED DISTRACTED YOUTH

Why is our youth so desperate to jump into western lifestyles? In my opinion, the reason behind their this will is their  "Enslaved thoughts". We have been a colony to the west, used by them, not used but actually DRAINED out of our resources by them. The westerns have colonized us in different ways. This was not a one day process, they slow poisoned our minds. They colonized us and then provided different means of needs and attractions to us. They made us stand in a position where we could not even turn on a light without their assistance because this light too is their invention. The households, cars, aeroplanes, electronic devices and even medicines are all their inventions and without them we consider our survival impossible. So as we are controlled this way, we got slowly and gradually admired by them, started following them and at the end want to be like them. In this way they caged our minds. They made us disbelieve in our own selves. Dependency to me is more chroni...

THE PAKISTANI MEDIA

Media is the main mean of mass communication these days. A common man accesses the world before him through media. This world includes politics, education, economy and much more of a country as well as the international system. Starting from the Pakistani local dramas. How do they portray our culture? Obviously through the message they convey. No doubt, they address social issues like in the dramas " Udari, Ruswai, Damsa" and many more, which is really appreciable of them. At the same time they show our living dishonorably in some dramas. They dispatch the image of university and public offices bluntly. This affects the mindset of a common man in a way that he refuses to send his children, more specifically daughters, to such institutes which affects the country eventually. Most of our dramas show upper class which is not so in Pakistan because more than 40%  of our public is even below the poverty line. The language, the dressing and living are not represented as Pakistani ...
