A VERY HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

 Today's blog is going to be about patriotism. A very random one, which I have not prepared but just writing what I feel for my country. 

There are counties, there are states and then there come nation states. Pakistan is a nation state because it came into being with the slogan of  being a nation. The sacrifices of the Muslims as well as non Muslims are not boxed from anyone and everyone knows about them. What we don't know is about our present and that is why we see our future vague. Pakistan is not any random country, it is the land of heroes! I will not just blindly claim things but I will provide evidences and I will make you learn very basic achievements of my beloved country...

Let's start with natural beauty. Pakistan is among few countries to be blessed with all the four seasons. Its most beautiful region is northern. This part of the country is famous due to its amazing meadows, sky-high mountains including K-2, hundreds of rivers and lush green valleys. These places are not only rich in beauty but in minerals also. The emeralds of Swat are famous world-wide. The valley of Skardu is like a well of gems having innumerous mines. The fruits, the wild life and not to forget the people of these areas are all unique in themselves. The description I gave is like a drop in the ocean because I cannot write the whole beauty in just one blog.

The local talent of Pakistan has no match. Pakistan has 23rd position in the world ranking of IQ. It is one of the largest pools of credible doctors and engineers. Not to forget that we still have a very low literacy rate.

Pakistan has very old civilizations of Harappa and Mohenjodaro. These civilizations are a magnet to tourists from all over the world which serves the economy of Pakistan. Our military, our irrigation system, our foods are renowned throughout the world. 

Pakistan is a blessed country no doubt but why is there restlessness?  It is because of our own people. He who forgets his past, sells his future. We have forgot our past, the struggles, the martyrs, the bloodbath on which this country became possible are all flown with the air. We are more Pathans, Punjabis, Sindhis and Balochis, less Pakistanis. We are supporting Parocialism (narrow concept focusing on very specific goal like area) not Nationalism. Even this parocialism is not homogenous, it is something else which I don't know what to call. Let me give you today's example of BRT inauguration, what kind of unawareness is this that people themselves are ruining services made for them. No doubt it might be opposition but who constitute this opposition? ofcourse people do and how can they be so disgraced. To overcome these problems try to start correction with your ownselves and then others. 

As a nation to remain alive, we need to struggle for survival. The struggle in this age might not be with the sword but with the brain. Keep your brains functional so it will not only benefit you but all around you. Nations are not maintained by just celebration of independence once in a year but by foreseeing the future and celebrating independence every single day which is possible by working hard as hell!

It is my very humble request to all who reads this blog, never say "Pakistan de marha chalege". This sentence shows the peak of being unmindful and oblivious. It shows the degree of ignorance. May Allah show us the right path and may Allah  keep our conscience living to lift up our country, our religion and ourselves. Ameen!
